CHINGAY PARADE 2024
Chingay Parade 2024 lit up the F1 Pit Building in a vibrant celebration of colour, culture, and community, drawing a crowd of 33,000.
Held under the theme Blossom, the parade showcased floral-inspired acts across six segments, reflecting Singapore’s rich traditions and multicultural spirit.
This year’s spectacle featured 3,500 local and international performers, 17 community-made floats, five iconic Chingay large floats, and Singapore’s longest-ever interactive floor projection—spanning 230 metres.
URBAN THEMED-PHOTOSHOOT (CHINATOWN)
This photography series is a small personal project of mine in collaboration with a schoolmate from polytechnic. This shoot was aimed to capture the freedom of youths like ourselves to be able to be comfortable in our own skin in the city where norms always presented themselves to us to conform to.
BEAUTIFUL TUNES III
New Gen Wind Symphony celebrated five years of community music-making with “Beautiful Tunes III” — the third installment of their signature concert series.
This special milestone performance featured a vibrant repertoire of classical pieces and popular favourites, including La Forza Del Destino, Howl’s Moving Castle, Nothing’s Gonna Change My Love for You, and Omens of Love. This photo series captures the passion, precision, and joy of the ensemble as they brought music to life on stage.
CULINARY CLASS AT ALLSPICE INSTITUTE
Allspice Institute is a culinary school that offers a diverse range of courses for various age groups to enable students to pick up a wide variety of culinary skillsets and learn about healthy food recipes from all over the globe to incorporate into their everyday lives.
CHINGAY PARADE 2023
After two years of scaled-down celebrations due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Chingay Parade made a vibrant return to the F1 Pit Building, reclaiming its full grandeur and festive spirit.
This year’s theme, ‘Embrace Tomorrow’, spotlighted diverse contingents and performances that celebrated Singapore’s resilience and optimism—marking a bold step out of the pandemic and into a future brimming with hope, colour, and endless possibilities.
CHRISTMAS AT NEE SOON WITH SINGAPORE RED CROSS
During the December holidays, volunteers from the Singapore Red Cross brought festive cheer to Nee Soon Estate by organizing a Christmas block party for residents in the area.
Together with the community, they distributed essential supplies to those in need and hosted a mini carnival—giving children a joyful way to celebrate the end of the school year.
OUROROBOS PROMOTIONAL SHOOT
'Ourorobos' is a youth-led ground-up initiative founded by students from diverse educational backgrounds, advocating for sustainability by championing the principles of ‘Reduce, Reuse, Recycle’ in everyday living.
This photoshoot showcases pre-loved items—still in excellent condition—sourced by Ourorobos to promote thrifting and encourage conscious choices in fashion and material use.
BAYBEATS MUSIC FESTIVAL 2022
Known as Singapore's largest free alternative music festivals, Baybeats is finally back in its full live glory in 2022 after two years of holding the festival online due to the COVID-19 measures.
This year, the festivals featured independent bands and musicians from all over Singapore as well as international bands such as those from Japan, South Korea, India and Indonesia.
WOMEN'S NATIONAL BASKETBALL LEAGUE 2022
The Women's National Basketball League (WNBL) features all-female teams from various Basketball Clubs all over Singapore to compete in the league, and form friendships across different teams through one sport in common - Basketball.
WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHY
While it is important to understand the stories of people and moments before deciding whether or not they are positive or negative, it is also important to pause and understand the importance of nature around us, especially animals!
They are vital to our eco-systems and the reason why our earth is so protected and beautiful.
COLOUR THEMED PORTRAIT SHOOT
This portrait photography series is a small personal project of mine in which I aimed to capture the joy in a young adult upon being surrounded by bright colours, despite living in a world where many others in our age group are appealed by minimalistic colours and designs.
COMMUNITY FIRST-AID @ JURONG LAKE GARDENS
On 5th February 2022, a brand new First-Aid Post was launched at Jurong Lake Gardens by Singapore Red Cross in collaboration with NParks. This initiative was supported by volunteers with the Red Cross Club - Southwest District (RCC @ SW), who would be stationed at the area every week to provide first-aid treatments and ensure the safety and well-being of park-goers.
E L E V A T E CONFERENCE 2021
Hosted annually by TheEDGE Singapore, ELEVATE Conference is live event whereby youths from all over the world attend and equip themselves with resources and takeaways from the live workshops offered during the day sessions of this conference. At the end of the conference, these youths would leave feeling challenged and empowered to lead their generation.
This year, ELEVATE Conference took its day sessions and mass workshops to online platforms such as YouTube and Zoom. The night sessions were held in-person in one location, throughout these sessions, social distancing and safety measures were strictly adhered to in order to ensure everyone that comes through the doors of ELEVATE Conference will reap a meaningful and safe in-person experience throughout.
THE EDGE YOUTH MINISTRY
The Edge Singapore is the youth ministry of Victory Family Centre, a church in Singapore. Every Saturday evening, youths from the ages of 13 - 22 would come together and meet at different regional locations for services, connection and even fun-filled nights of games and meeting new people.
For the most part of 2021, services have been moved online in compliance to the safety measures in place in response to the rise in COVID-19 cases in the community. These photos of our community have all been taken during our in-person services, that were altered accordingly to the safety measures in pace.
DIGITAL LEARNING CIRCLES 2020
In collaboration with IMDA, Digital Learning Circles (DLC) programme incorporated into Heartware Network's Support Our Pioneers (SOP) programme to enhance seniors' digital literacy skills.
This programme aims to further equip seniors with digital literacy skills especially in a time when the COVID-19 pandemic is at its peak and safety measures implemented by the government would require the community to turn to digital alternatives to complete daily tasks such as paying for their groceries and using the TraceTogether App.
VICTORY FAMILY CENTRE - COMMUNITY
Victory Family Centre (VFC) is a church based in Singapore and one that has a growing community of people from all walks of life. To the ever-growing community in VFC, church is more than just a weekly service but rather a big family where people can stay connected with one another and forge meaningful connections.
I served in various ministries in Victory Family Centre over the years I've been a part of them. From helping out in the technical crew to the hospitality team, and of course the photography team. Here are some snippets I've taken from different services and corporate events that have taken place in VFC Singapore.
HW-NDP 2020 HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT
National Day Parade (NDP) has always been an iconic highlight of any year for many Singaporeans. This special day is celebrated every 9th of August at locations with massive seating capacities for people to come and celebrate the nation's birthday.
However in 2020, due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and safety measures in place, NDP 2020 had to take on a different operational strategy altogether, requiring the volunteer body to serve in separate locations.
CHINGAY PARADE 2020
In 2020, I participated in the annual Chingay Parade as an official photographer under the InstaSG Community. In line with Chingay 2020's theme 'Colours of Harmony', I snapped shots of the performing acts and contingents in full costume throughout the rehearsals and the final shows.
E L E V A T E CONFERENCE 2019
ELEVATE is a collective of events and resources designed to equip and empower Youth Pastors to build strong local church youth ministries that will impact a generation. ELEVATE Live Events are an opportunity to hear from leading voices in this generation who will give key insights into how to take a youth ministry to the next level, and equip young people for a new level of leadership.
The ELEVATE Conference is hosted annually by TheEDGE Singapore, and this is a live event whereby young people from all over the world attend and leave the event challenged and empowered to lead their generation.
FRIGHT NIGHT 2019
I served as a photographer at TheEDGE Singapore's Fright Night event. This event is planned and curated annually by youths and for youths aged 13-22 and it is about being and overcomer as an individual and rising up from our fears, insecurities and doubts as a young person in a society that places many expectations on us that we'd sometimes feel overwhelmed by.

ONE NIGHT 2019
As the youth ministry of Victory Family Centre, TheEDGE Singapore comes back every year with their ONE NIGHT event. This is one of the nights where young people aged 13 - 22 from all walks of life gather to attend youth services as well as to have a fun and memorable weekend together.
BIG DAY OUT 2019
Victory Family Centre (VFC)'s Big Day Out is an annual corporate event where families and friends of all age groups gather together for a weekend family day outing to spend time with their community and their loved ones.
This event consists of many service teams, game and photo booths as well as a flea market which I've snapped photos of throughout the time I served here as a photographer.
THE EDGE SG - BEACH PARTY 2019
TheEDGE Singapore is the youth ministry of Victory Family Centre Singapore. Each year is packed with various mass events where young people aged 13 - 22 gather for youth services as well as to have a fun and memorable time together.
I served as a photographer at TheEDGE Singapore's Beach Party. This event is held annually in June and the summer - holiday themed event is always filled with plenty of beach activities for the youths to part-take in. Beyond the fun, youths part of TheEDGE Singapore are often involved in volunteering within different service teams to ensure that all operations at a large-scale event such as this one could run smoothly.
SUPERBOOM CARNIVAL 2019
Organized by The Fun Factory SG @ Victory Family Centre, the Superboom Carnival is an annual mass event where children aged 7-12 from all walks of life gather at the various regional locations this event will be held to have a fun time with games, crafts, art activities and even story sessions and gift exchanges.
The Fun Factory aims to maintain a fun and safe community for all children to have a good time with one another as well as learn about character values and the importance of having them in life.
I served in The Fun Factory as an volunteer assistant teacher in their weekly programmes as well as a photographer in their quarterly mass events. Here are some samples of photography that I've captured in one of their Superboom Carnivals in 2019.
